Animondial is a responsible tourism consultancy, focusing on the protection of animals. The organisation is a key advisor to the travel industry focusing on matters concerning animal welfare in tourism. What that means in practise is that they work with travel companies to audit any animal content of their programmes. They will help the operator to source and sell programmes with animal content, and they also provide training for tour operator staff in how to sell such product. They are also founder-members of the Animal Protection Network (APN), an international group of conservation organisations and community projects, engaging with the travel and tourism sector to bring compassion to tourism.
